This course will help you to be able to understand, demonstrate and teach Low Impact camping techniques to groups and individuals through skits, games and other methods.

You will be able to understand, demonstrate and teach Low Impact camping techniques to groups and individuals, through skits, games and many other techniques to encourage others to learn about the environment.. Upon succesful completion, this course provides you with a certificate from Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics. Courses are typically run over a weekend and each participant will talk about one Leave No Trace Ethic that they are comfortable with.

The Trainer Course assists the student participants in learning more about the seven principles of Leave No Trace and techniques for disseminating these low impact skills.

These courses are designed for educators, guides, agency employees and other outdoor professionals. Successful graduates of the Trainer Course gain the skills to teach Leave No Trace techniques and ethics to their clients, friends and family. Participants learn the concepts of Leave No Trace and prepare to teach LNT curriculum in a variety of settings-schools, camps, parks, wilderness and front country areas.
